Quite simply, Steve’s mission is to make the planet a healthier and happier place.  In order to have a sustainable world, we must have a healthy environment.  Happiness has more to do with our human relationships.  Steve believes that we must embrace our diversity, and cultivate a society that advances tolerance of our differences to acceptance, and ultimately to appreciation.  This ideal enables him to work effectively with a wide range of people.

Information and energy are key resources that must be managed effectively and leveraged intelligently.  Steve believes that we should work smarter, not harder.  Oftentimes there are business processes that work well in their infancy, but as the organization grows, the processes are no longer sustainable.  For example, with a handful of customers, you can keep your data on index cards, but this system will not likely stand the test of time as your business grows.  Steve has demonstrated the power of the database, not only to facilitate effective operations, but to support an intelligent decision-making process.
